Aeration Specialists Suprafilt were named runners up in two categories of this year’s Red Rose Awards.
Suprafilt, based in Rossendale, have been selected by judges in the ‘Engineering Business’ and ‘Medium Business of the Year’.
The winners were announced on Thursday 12 March 2020 at the Winter Ballroom in Blackpool.
Since the awards were launched in 2011, it has steadily grown and become the centrepiece attraction for the business community with the sell-out ceremony taking place at the magnificent Winter Gardens Blackpool.
The awards have categories relevant to all Lancashire based businesses and are a fantastic opportunity to showcase your business to the wider community.
The finalists will now undergo an intensive interview process at Ewood Park over two interview days.
The Medium Business award is open to entrants with 21 to 99 full time employees. The category requires businesses to demonstrate their achievements in terms of maintaining and growing their operations and how that will be continued.
The Engineering Business Award is open to traditional engineering businesses. The winner needs to demonstrate excellence in engineering across multiple projects, proving how they meet clients briefs and expectations.
In both categories, they will be interested in how you are investing and developing new products, services, techniques, skills and processes to meet changing demands; and how businesses are maintaining and increasing their operations in established markets.
Graeme Fielden, Sales Manager at Suprafilt, said: “We are delighted to have been named as finalists for both categories. The prestigious awards are well regarded, and we are very proud to be named as finalists among some of the best businesses in Lancashire.
“We enjoyed talking to the judges and telling about the various projects we are currently working on, our new products and how we always strive to go above and beyond the expectations of our clients.”
