Suprafilt named as framework suppliers for both Yorkshire Water and Thames Water.

Wastewater treatment specialist Suprafilt has been added to the Yorkshire Water framework for suppliers for AMP7.

The Rossendale-based company has been selected by the Utilities Company to be one of their framework suppliers for future work after proving themselves on previous jobs.

Suprafilt were also added to the Thames Water framework earlier in the year.

Graeme Fielden, Sales Manager at Suprafilt, said: “To be included on both the Yorkshire Water and Thames Water framework is a privilege and we intend to prove that they have made the right decision by appointing us as one of their framework suppliers for AMP7.”

Yorkshire Water supplies and treatments water for West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, the East Riding of Yorkshire, part of North Lincolnshire, most of North Yorkshire and part of Derbyshire. It provides around 1.3 billion litres of water per day, treated at over 50 water treatment works to ensure high-quality drinking water.

Thames Water is the UK’s largest water and wastewater services company. It treats more than 4 billion litres of sewage for 15 million customers. We are delighted to have been chosen as one of the framework suppliers.

To secure the accreditations, Suprafilt have undergone a rigorous selection process.

The contracts have been awarded for an initial five-year term, with further extension options.
