Suprafilt installed a liftable grid system without draining the tanks during the live installation – working in close partnership with the operators of the Wastewater Treatment Works. There were some operational challenges to overcome to allow the installation to go without interruption to the process.

The project involved breaking into the pipe to replace sections of the pipe within a short time frame. This was restricted by the time that the air flow could be stopped for to allow the manufacturing to take place.
